Ingredients:

  • Medium zucchini
  • Bell pepper
  • Small eggplant
  • Vine leaves
  • 1 cup rice, washed and soaked
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried mint
  • 1 cup Mazola sunflower oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Lemon juice
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Water, as needed

Instructions:

Step 1: In a bowl, mix the rice with the tomato, onions, parsley, mint, Mazola sunflower oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Step 2: Stuff the prepared vegetables with this mixture, ensuring they are firmly packed. Arrange them neatly in a large pot.
Step 3: Combine the tomato sauce with water and pour it over the stuffed vegetables (Mahashi) until almost submerged.
Step 4: Cover the pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer gently for about 45 minutes, until the rice and vegetables are tender.
